Default Let's look at a very early trailer of GW (Back in 2001!)

http://media.putfile.com/GW-Trailer

I still would have bought it :P.

I wouldn't have bought it. I would've went for WoW over that. Although I wish they took some of those old armors/weapons and redid them for modern GW.

Wow, that looked horrible. I'd stick to starcraft, civ 3 and quake 3 in 2001.

To earn the right to call ourselves guild members? Last time I checked it didnt take much to call someone that...

Did you see the way the chest opened...?

I echo the "wow" ...

That looked like crap, and I'm glad they took the extra year to work on whatever they were working on (though I'm guessing some of that included the look of the game). I think GW as it stands today has some of the best in-game art in the genre.

It's fun to watch, but also quite terrifying. It looks honestly just awful. And the real cheesy narration just makes it worse.

Is it just me, or does the environment art actually look very very similar to WoW in that trailer? :s

Gaile, was that your voice in that trailer? Can't believe it is really the same game. It was so basic looking.

I believe that is the E3 2003 trailer, not 2001.
